Community Membership

In an effort to make GSC accessible and inclusive for everyone, the Community Liaison project was developed in 2001. This innovative project was the first of its type within any UK science centre and was designed to develop new ways of ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to access the resources within GSC.

The Community Membership Scheme has been devised to make entry more affordable and to give community groups a specific contact within the centre.

The annual membership fee to cover servicing and administration costs £10. Community membership allows the card-bearing organisation discounted access to the Science Mall through a voucher system. Vouchers are purchased on the day or in advance at £3 each (adult or child). Membership also allows discounted access to our IMAX cinema and the Glasgow Tower. In addition, community members are given prior notice to new events, shows and exhibitions.

Glasgow Science Centre is happy to work with groups to devise programmes tailored to their needs and to address any issues, which may cause difficulty or concern.
