Little Explorer Days...back in September
Each Little Explorer day will include a mixture of songs, stories, face painting, 'make and take' workshops as well as plenty of time to explore the Science Mall. An ideal outing for 2-5 year olds and their parents!
2010 Dates
Monday 6th Spetember - The Bug Ball
Meet our resident minibeasts and explore the life cycle of a butterfly with Benny the puppet on his butterfly trail. Dress up as your favourite minibeast for the day and enter our best dressed bug competition.
Sunday 21st November - Animal Bites
We have special teeth of different shapes and sizes with important roles to do but so do our animal friends. Compare the skulls of different animals and try to work out who eats what at an animal picnic.
Thursday 9th December - Twinkle TimeSearch for twinkling starry animals in our interactive planetarium show. Explore reflective materials with Benny the puppet on his shiny trail, and investigate shadows of assorted colours.

Sunday 16th January - Splish, Splosh
Enjoy a wintry water story with Benny our puppet. Explore floating and sinking with bubbles and boats. Play and investigate with the water exhibit on the Big Explorer.
