MindWorks is the second in a series of Glasgow Science Centre's 'home grown' exhibitions.  Building on the success of "Be Creative",  MindWorks will cover the entire third floor of the Science Centre.  It explores the way we comprehend the world about us through our senses, delivering fascinating and curious interactive experiences such as the Vortex Tunnel, the Phantom Hand and the Ames Room.

Several of the senses are explored, including touch and audio illusions as well as visual ones. Information to make sense of the experiences is provided too, so that the basics are there for everyone, but if you want to delve a little further there's more explanation on many of the exhibits.

You can have a go at lip syching in the Foley booth, were you are challenged to add a sound track to a video, see a live action stop motion of your movements on the Snibbe Screen and get some amazing perspective-bending photographs of things like the Impossible Triangle, the Beuchet Chair and the Hall of Doors by following the photo trail around the floor.
