Steve Owens, UK Co-ordinator for the International Year of Astronomy 2009, will discuss the highlights for the year ahead, both in the sky and down here on earth, as the world's astronomers celebrate the 4000th anniversary of Galileo's first observation through a telescope.

Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7pm start.
