To achieve our Mission and Vision we aim to attract people with a variety of skills and experiences who can inspire, challenge and engage with our wide range of visitors.

Investor in People

In January 2010 we were re-accredited as an Investor in People. This award confirms our commitment to achieving success through our people. Investors in People have also selected Glasgow Science Centre as a case study - a copy of this is available under the downloads section on this page.

As a 5* visitor attraction we are committed to giving our customers an excellent experience. Many of our posts require specific skills, however it is essential that everyone employed is willing to work in a team-focused environment and has excellent customer service skills.

National Training Awards

In November 2007, we were recognised as a Scottish Winner at the National Training Awards for the development of our Customer Experience Learning Modules.

STEP

GSC were selected as a case study as part of the Service Sector Training in European Employment Practices (STEP) project that examines and collects good Human Resources practices in European hospitality.
